Lemoy the Siamese Empress

This is Haterz(Part 2) Remix Feat. Presto

Lemoy The Siamese Empress, also known as Lemoy the Siamese is a Rapper & Model from the UK.

She stands out from the crowd with her style of rapping , her looks and her mixing of languages in her tracks. English, Arabic, French and some Spanish, Lemoy sounds like no other.

From an early age always compared to a siamese cat or kitten because of her facial bone structure and unique looks, she was given the name Lemoy the Siamese Empress and adopted this as her music name. Lemoy has always had a love for hiphop, the beats the words and the culture and thus, has developed her own unique style of rap.

Having attended Drama school from an early age, it was destined for Lemoy to eventually follow in the path of some kind of entertainment field.

She has generated quite a bit of interest abroad as a result of her myspace page which allows her to network and share her music with lots of different countries especially the States. Lemoy is not only respected and adored by the women who she represents as a voice for, and who follow her style but she is also respected by the men who rate her rapping skills.

I personally think Lemoy is just getting started & has plenty more to offer the entertainment industry, particularly Hip hop. It is always refreshing to hear a female voice with game and a message.

50 Cent signs Gamu!!!

There has been speculation that 50 Cent has signed Gamu who was rejected in the early stages of the x factor competition last year. This for me is the absolute icing on the cake that the UK music industry keeps taking!! I continue to fail to understand why the music industry in the UK has such poor foresight for local talent! Furthermore those that play major roles in what happens with local talent seem to have this tendency to look down their noses at something that would need development. Did I mention that apparently quite a number of UK labels were fighting to have her signed to them? My question to that is very simple, so simple its one word, WHEN!? I would personally salute 50 cent for noticing the talent that Gamu has and offering her an opportunity to sing and get credit for it! Not to mention him also taking advantage of an opportunity the UK industry was too arrogant and elitist to notice. Yes I said it ARROGANT AND ELITIST! The best bit about this circus I have always found funny, is that the UK industry is always trying to emulate the US. Always looking for the “UK’s answer to……..”, which I personally find embarrassing and appalling. When will they learn that sometimes you don’t have to look far and wide to find something amazing? I mean in this case here, Gamu is actually from Zimbabwe and came to the UK! So theoretically she is talent that came in from Zimbabwe at no cost to the people that could make it happen and they let her slip out of their hands! There are numerous other examples I could point out in this subject like Sway, Estelle and way too many others to mention. At the same time I must also admit that recently there has been a bit of a push toward the right direction and more local talent has been making waves. In the same breath, I’m saying a large number of them are working independently. The UK music industry needs to wake up like ten years ago and have some recognition for what they have been missing by instantly dismissing!!

Decisions, decisions decisions....

This past week has shown me a lot. In terms of what happens to people due to their own choices or those made by others. For example Ted Williams, he was a man who sounds like he was in his prime when he fell victim to the substances that were for recreation. Then with time his life turned upside down. Someone made the decision last week to film this Gentleman as he did his immaculate radio voice. Notice the decisions being made here, you have a man deciding to get involved in the illicit substances then suffered the consequences of this for over a decade. He then decided to acknowledge God at some point and maintained his decision to be Thankful. Then last week a reporter for the local media decided to film Ted.Next thing you know he has his dream and appear on the Today show on NBC on the  video above What I'm saying is making bad decisions in life is not abnormal, we all do it whether great or small. The point is we also have opportunities worth taking advantage of and making the right decision. I hope everyone reading this is blessed to recognize the opportunities which lie in each of our lives & make the most of them.

New Year’s message

Welcome to you if you have only just subscribed!! This last year has been one full of challenges and opportunities for a lot of people. We deal with life differently simply because we are all unique and have unique lives, no matter who we emulate. This time of year people like to make resolutions that would either radically or slightly change their way of life. All I can say about that is the only way you can see if you succeeded with your decision is the result after 12 months. What I’m saying is, at this point you should be in a situation where by you have reflected on the year gone by. Take inventory of the things and people that have helped us progress towards our goals and the things and people that have impeded us. The secret is not to stop there but to decide to hang on to those factors that have pushed us in the right direction and let go off the factors that have held us back. There is talent out there that needs to be nurtured and most people that are reading this message are either those that make it happen for the next big thing or are the next big thing but don’t have the resources. I really want to have a happy new year and I confidently assume that you want the same. So if there is anything that would please me its that this year people find themselves at the right place at the right time and do what they were born to do and be generously rewarded for it! Happy New Year everyone, wishing you lots of money, good health and a constant flow of peace and love!
