Q:So which in your mind is better, New york or London?

A: I wouldn't say either is better really, they're totally unique in different ways.. I love New york because that's where my music career as such is, and I love the constant energy there in the city and the smell of coffee first thing in the morning. The clubs are crazzzy and at night the lights so inspiring to watch glow! London in another way is a very fast paced lifestyle, and there are all these different areas where so much happens, and its where a lot of my career happens!

Q: What's the name of your album?

A: It Doesn't have one as of yet....

Q: Ok, your bio says you are releasing a single next year, have you got a name for that?
A: We have many singles from the album which I've recorded and am recording but we haven't decided which lead track we'll be dropping yet....

Q: The readers would love to know what video game you are filming for.

A: I'm currently filming a few things. But the video game is called "The Shorditch Slayer" and will be a live game where you go online and sign up for it and then.. Let the games begin! I'm the female vampire!!

A: Ahh its looking sickkk!!!

Q: Excellent! Any hints on when the game will be available to buy?

A: Very soon, it'll be out but think its more an online game, and u can have a chance to play it live with us as the characters too!

Q: What was it like on the set when you were filming The Prince of Persia?

A: It was an incredible experience... It was in fact my first movie I did. I started as an extra and whilst I was doing a scene along side Jake Gyllinhall and Gemma Arterton(which felt at the time so surreal) one of the assistant directors came to me and said how much I stood out of camera when I smiled and he made me what they call a "featured extra" which means you get some screen time. I was flattered but it just shows if you believe in yourself and keep your eye on the prize then anything is possible.. Of course being in the right place at the right time helps, but if you have something special in you then let it shine baby!! And that same assistant director Michael Stevenson, got me into Harry Potter! I still to this day feel very blessed to all these people who have stood by me and believed in me and are helping me to achieve me wildest dreams!

Q: Is there anyone in particular from the industry who inspired you?

A: Yes of course, many have inspired me and even some up rising stars in their own right continue to inspire me... Michael Jackson, he will live on forever in many of our hearts and through his music and dance and dance skills he inspired me "to be the best of who I am" and have my own flavour and know that's what people will love one day! Miley Cyrus, for being a triple threat and having a caricature of herself in a TV show and having some making some great hits! Triple threat is a big term they use in America but its what I'm more often than not getting named these days, we'll see, I will be really smashing it when my stuffs on that level and higher! But it will be, watch! I also really look up to Rachel McAdams as an Actress as she is so versatile and so believable and goes from acting in the notebook to Mean girls!! I mean wow two completely different films!

Q: What is your album about?

A: There's a running theme of a new man who's entered my life after one's just gone and there's a bit about the journey there... But to be honest each track is totally different and very catchy! I'm so blessed to have infamous writer Angela Hunt writing for me as she wrote 'Empire State Of Mind' - Jay Z / Alicia Keyes amongst writing for P Diddy, Dr Dre and many other well known names! I love flying back out to NYC as I'm greeted by Angela who is one of the most caring people I know and she just looks after me and makes sure my music be screaming HIT!

Q: You were at the hair awards ceremony recently, what was it like to present an award?

A: I felt so honoured to be asked to present an award! It was always one of my dreams to be up on stage at a big awards giving something that meant so much to someone! There are so many talented people out there, not just in front of the camera, but those who help us look how we do in front of the camera like the stylists! And so to give the styling team of the year award felt pretty amazing! And seeing myself up on the big screens after was so cool :)

Q: After the the video game what are you doing next?

A: Well I'm now filming this show for the BBC which is out in the new year where they're following my career! So if you look out for that then you'll see a fly on the wall preview of me in action and a preview of one of my tracks I was working on at the time in new York! I'm currently in talks to be the lead female in a big film which would start filming 2011 being directed by Duncan Thomas! So fingers crossed with that!!

Q: Do you ever get time to yourself?

A: Yeah once a year haha no... All the time, its just limited and when I do its a luxury! I love spending time with my family and close girlfriends! Without them keeping me on track and chaperoning me at many of my shoots just for company I'd be lost! Its great when I meet other artists who i form a bond with and then we hang out, our schedules are usually pretty similar that's why we gel

Q: Have you been invited to any other events?

A: Of the most recent events; The Urban Music Awards I attended and I was invited to the Mobo's and the VMA's in the states

Q: What is the difference you found between awards in the UK and those in the US?

A: They're just way bigger and more hyped in the US! And the guest list is crazy in the US too. But the UK awards are lots of fun and are defo coming right up there! I try and take a different close friend with me when I can, so they can enjoy it with me and lounge in the VIP with the freebies! I LOVE my freebies, its like Xmas everyday!! Y'all need to make sure you get down there for them if anything! One day I'll make sure all my fans are sent goody bags personally from me ;) and aspire to one day be someone yourself who other fellas and ladies out there would love to receive a good bag from!

A: I have many quotes I live by.... But these are a couple of my favs...

Tashie: ":A great flame follows a little spark"

Tashie: And "don't judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again...

Entel Digimag: Amazing stuff!!

Entel Digimag: Thank you so much for spending your quality time EntEl Digimag!!

Dub step is doing this ting

Dub step is a very acquired taste to some, it sounds like a bag of noise some say it’s another evolution of grime in my personal opinion I feel that with grime going mainstream I feel it has now opened the doors for dub step to be seen and shine for the gold mine that it is.

It is now time for us to get this idea that dub step is all noise dub step is now vastly becoming the new sound of the underground and the urban scene and it gives me flash back to the days when we used to be listening to the rep ur endz tunes and when we grime was the urban sound of every hooded tracksuit wearing new era cap wearing yout not just in London but around the UK scene. But now we have a new sound of the UK urban scene and its dub step and no tune high lights this point then we speak in slang like this by true tiger ft p-money, this tune has that some thing that makes me feel like this is what is to be young urban and a Londoner.

The tune is all about the urban slang of mandem on the roads with a bad boi remix with the Newham generals and OGz member blacks and deserves a serious 2 thumbs if not more as the video goes through the urban scene of London and shows you what it 2 be in Londoner. This tune along with this I feel like the new era of underground artists that I think are doing this ting in dub step Katy b, tempah t, Newham generals and producers chase and status working with tempa t and along side Malachi.

Will dub step continue to be the sound of the underground will it continue to be mainstream but still be the voice the thing that drives young talented youts in London and all around UK scene or will it go fully mainstream and start to sell out to satisfy the pagons in suits and the disillusioned teenagers with poster of boy zone and hello kitty satisfied, be send your views to the magazine and let me know.

Due date review...

Awkward, weird, crooked, a bit twisted but flippin' funny!
I mean when I watched this film I found myself holding my sides and onto my two friends who I had taken to the pictures to see this masterpiece. The story line is not just a faint string of dialogue that houses the funny bits of the film but it is indeed deeply dramatic, meaningful emotive and most importantly it's a funny film! This new comedy from the Hangover director, with Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis sees the unlikely pair get banned from flying and they have to endure each others company as they journey 3000 miles across the united states! Robert Downey Jr's character is racing to LA to witness the birth of his firstborn child while his road trip buddy seeks to follow his dream as an actor, these two go high and low with eachother as the gradually forge an unmatched friendship that sees them go the extra mile for each other.  This film is truly funny, packed with action and the cinematography is compelling! All in all, I was laughing hysterically and I would watch it again and I want the DVD when it's out! Bring on hangover 2!!!

The game over remix review Girls vs. boys

There’s no doubt to say that grime has evolved over the years from being a very underground base music style and not being recognised as a musical genre to being now put in the for front of the uk scene and even giving the big us American musical machine some thing to fall back over and nothing proves this point then the game over tunes the original version by tinchy strider ft gigs, pro green, tine tempah, devilin, example and chipmunk was something for those little children to espier to and some thing that sounds heavy in the care with a mad amount of base but the remix’s  of the game over tune have come with a mad amount of lyrical precision and an artillery of artist the sound nuts on the tune as d double e would say its durtttty but which one sounds better the female take over or the remix with ghetts maxsta dot rotten griminal.

The female version has a video which it so rightly deserves and shows that girls can do it like a dude for sure some of them putting some of the men in the grime scene to shame with the flows and the lyrical skill of baby blu, mz brat, lioness rough diamonds’ cherry Alicia and other artists. The main difference with this version other then the other sex gender and the fact that man would rather link them girls the late at night in a presidential sweet is that they have a female vocalist on the chorus which in my opinion sounds heavy sorry brudhas. The videos is shot in black and white and is on channel flava and if I haven’t said so already I think that the ladies think that they all look hot and I personally think it deserves for the mandem who had doubts about the female grime artist should give them a salute.

The male version remix is serious with the lyrical fire of some of my favourite artist in grime ghetts, maxsta griminal slix dot rotten fudha guy wretch 32 roachee and the creator tinchy stryder, in my opinions I feel this sticks to what grime is and has always been some thing rough to make the youths of today to bang the head and when I here this version I get chills down my spine and makes me think to those days when we used to here rough squad or roll deep or even meridian man on pirate radio station and then also makes me think how far the grime has come to even be considered as a pop genre as well far from the days of Wiley having to tell the world we don’t do garage and them days of who’s that O to the B

Darkside.... ( written by Anaïs Cerveaux)

by Anaïs TheSinger on Thursday, 28 October 2010 at 16:51
Boy U got a darkside
I wish I wasnt so blind while i was by your side
You had your game on
And you went on and on
Im stuck in this place i cant breathe which im tryna leave...
You make me sick and i believe u r a disease
New doors will open i will find the right keys
and the pain will ease
I dont want to get out of control
I will have my mind and soul
I need to fight it u R heartless yet useless
Stop running in ma mind
Aint you tired
cant believe its you i desired, I admired
Am here wasting my time asking why
when tears coming down my eye
I Jus sigh its really time to say goodbye
Its you i loved i cant deny
I know and deep down ive been real and i know this pain will heal,
I came across a bumpy path but i'll get through it, sun's gona shine
i will get by im a lil star and i deserve my crown
u need to stop swimming before you drown
My feelings i wont let it show
I gotta leave 'Bow'......

Whats next in the world of Tech

In the last issue we covered the ipad and its widespread popularity. Just after the release it came to my attention that Samsung were very serious about their Galaxy range and were on the brink of releasing their own tablet computer with the same capabilities as the ipad but slightly smaller in size. The interface is very similar to that of apple in terms of how the touch screen works. Dell has also come along with something not quite the same but just as functional. The dell streak has a smaller size yet it delivers! This means you could be surfing the net, responding to emails on the move. This Christmas everyone has been talking about the Xbox kinect interface and how it will revolutionise game play as the player becomes the controller of the console! With voice recognition and command features the interface allows you to activate and operate the console. A bit like “Jarvis” from Iron man. The most appealing feature for me would have to be the hand gesture technology. Similar concept to the wii but better! The Kinect has the advantage that there is no need what so ever for a controller of any kind. You walk in and tell it what to do and get on with it! You could be playing a driving game and it will recognise your gestures of simulated driving. Imagine playing Black ops on Xbox live with this piece of equipment! The interface its self is an experience in its own right! I wouldn’t be surprised if this sort of interface would replace the computers we use at home or at work in the future. This gadget is set to make the Xbox a must have this Christmas

The Games review: Call of Duty: Black ops

The single player mode is quite straight forward and is a continuation of the CoD series. However the multi player mode has a lot of new developments for example you have the ability to customise everything from the combat gear for the soldiers to the equipment they use, the kill-streaks have changed too. There are also more multiplayer modes available. In this game, there are more ways of building up your XP (In-game credit). The game looks and plays similar to world at war but also has the attributes of modern warfare. It’s like a fusion of the two games!  You’ve got the modern day sophisticated weapons such as TV guided missiles, radio controlled cars strapped with explosives and stealth planes. Set against the backdrop of Classic conflicts such as Vietnam, World War 2, Cuban Missile crisis, and the various sub plots of the cold war although no war actually took place back then. These include seeking and destroying spies that were posted behind enemy lines parts of the world. Governments of today deny these ever taking place, hence the title. There are other Shoot’em up games out such as Medal of Honour Tier1 operator, Battle field bad company 2, and Mag (Play station 3 only) but are more team based. They are more to do with objectives that can only be accomplished by working as a team. They are also more realistic in terms of how you engage your opponent. Where as with CoD it’s more personal and more to do with stacking up on kills and collecting rewards for it. If you don’t know what you’re doing on CoD you may find it a bit tedious as it is a fast paced game. CoD gets the prize because there is more excitement in the game play. The story mode has Bench mark levels as standard with the CoD series.
