Changed the way you kiss me

So I'm minding my business and this tune by  Example was playing and I thought "its a house track that will stir up new interest in the genre, that's what makes this one different. Changed the way you kiss me is probably going to take the club scene by storm. I can just imagine this tune playing in a rave somewhere in Mayfair with loads of champagne and models everywhere. The high energy of the beat with the lyrical versatility of Example creates an excellent balance which quite a few tunes of the same genre are missing. I'm  looking forward to the video it better be as good as the track because Ive repeated it a few times now. Lets just hope Example gets good director to get the job done. My personal rating for the track 9/10

Saratoga Entertainment presents Micaelyn Traut "Shake it off"

As 16 year-olds go, Micaelyn Traut is already proving to be a well-rounded singer / songwriter, and aspiring drummer, whom, from an early age showed a healthy interest in the creative, and performance arts.

The experience, depth, and no doubt, emotion expressed by her well thought-out lyrics, and in turn delivered through her syrupy vocals - being of such a tender age, indeed speaks volumes about this young lady’s pedigree.

Born in 1995, and being an only child, Micaelyn has always been the center of attention, and thus, her parents recognized early on that she seemed to love the camera, and never one to be shy, was always looking for creative avenues to express herself.

This then led her parents to initially enrol with a casting agency, with whom she remained till the age of 12 where she had the opportunity to build an enviable portfolio with kudos for cameos in TV, and magazine adverts, promo shoots for Pep Stores, McDonalds, Speedo, as well as a cameo role in the science fiction movie,
10 000BC.

Not being old enough to enter the South African Idol talent search competition, Micaelyn decided she was  not going to wait, and by the tender age of 14, Micaelyn had already co-written (with her aunt Katherine Traut, also a musician), and recorded “I’m A Dreamer”, a track sure to be included on her upcoming aptly-titled “Living The Dream” debut album.

She is currently signed to the London-based Saratoga Entertainment Group, and currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa where Micaelyn Traut, without a doubt, the world’s next teen superstar, will springboard her “bent on worldwide domination” ambitions from in the meantime.

“Living The Dream” Micaelyn Traut’s forthcoming debut with lead single “Shake It Off”, a song which promises to be worldwide hit, thus, putting her well on the road to a be a global teen star in her own right will be released in 2011, in time for her 16th birthday.

Tribute to Nathaniel Dwayne Hale also known as Nate Dogg

It is with great sadness that I write this update. Hip hop has lost one its greatest artists, the first man to make it cool to sing over a hip hop beat. With his massive debut appearance on the hit "Regulate" by Warren G, Nate Dogg came along with his deep, melodic voice and changed hip hop forever. He was the only one of his kind for at least 10 years, paving the way for artists such as Jahiem and more recently Drake. Before Nate Dogg came into the hip hop scene it was unheard of for a man to sing on a hip hop tune unless he was an R&B artist. The voice of Nate Dogg became associated with the west coast as he appeared on numerous tracks with various artists such as 2pac, Kurrupt, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem to name a few. A massive gaping hole has been left by the loss of this icon, may he rest in peace.

Hopeless Romantic

I'm not sure where to begin, this EP is just epic!!!! I'm still stuck for words, there is no comparison, be it style, voice or rhythm. I mean absolute authenticity from "Me and my cigarette" (intro) right through to "Feel good" (outro). My personal favorites are the title track and "Down to ride" feat. Superior Thought. The whole EP grabbed my attention by the scruff of the neck with the beats then melts into this warm hug by the voice and lyrics. Actually its better than that, I just can't think of the words to describe it. I haven't heard anything like this before and its just refreshing in every sense of the word. The best way to understand my experience is to listen to the EP, its one of those that you can't help but  listen to all the tracks and wish there was more. In my imagination when she releases her album it will be a storm!!

Entel Digimag to cover Rip the runway 2011

It is with great excitement and pleasure that I announce that Entel Digimag has been requested to cover the festivities this year at the Rip The Runway fashion show. Among the attractions, the show will be hosted by Kojo the comedian. Expecting 950 guests Rip the Runway is a dynamic fusion of fashion, dance and music. Taking place at the Broadway Theatre in Catford, it is going to be a huge affair indeed, a show not to missed by any means. I think this show will be unforgettable due to the number of people involved with it for example 150 models showcasing couture by 20 designers not to mention 10 UK music acts! April 17th all roads lead to The Broadway Theatre, I personally cant think of a better way to welcome the spring season!

Southside By Gabriel Blacksmith

This is another one of those tunes that is only ever written out of love. Gabriel is simply representing where he is from and including all the people that he grew up with and met along his journey. The production is also very impressive done by Ruffy. Gabriel is promising to taking the game to the next level and he is not slowing down anytime soon. The photography By Misjif was also on point, telling a story of the different parts of South London. This isn't a tune to disrespect any other areas, its merely encouraging people to appreciate who they are and where they are from. It would be easy to try and say otherwise but in my opinion only people looking for trouble or low level of intelligence would assume that this tune undermines the credibility of any other area. Hopefully this is just the beginning of a very successful and long lasting career.

Multicoloured bullets

This is the first time I’m talking about a tune without waiting for a remix. ST produced a monster of a tune with lyrics by OphQui and the soothing voice of Aziza made multicoloured bullets a phenomenon. To me this tune brings back the memories of what hip hop is supposed to be. At the same time not many people can say they can’t relate to either kind of artistic expression. This is certainly one of the best tunes I’ve heard in a long while. The relevance and is without question a huge step in the underground taking into account the low level of attention most underground artists with raw talent. ST literally takes no prisoners on this beat, not that he ever does but tune will have a continuous toll on the hip hop community regardless of their immunity. Multicoloured bullets is going to set the game on fire!!!
